Welcome to the official website of flutist Jessica Jiang.

1st prize winner of the International Flute Competition "Leonardo de Lorenzo" in 2011, and the Audience Prize winner of the International Flute Competition of Budapest in 2013, Chinese-Australian flutist Jessica Jiang held the position of Solo Piccolo & 2nd Flute with the Regional Orchestra of Cannes (Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur), as well as Principal Flute with the Conservatoire Graduates' Orchestra in Paris from 2014-2015. Jessica has also played with the National Orchestra of France (ONF), Nancy Symphony Orchestra and Tours Symphony Orchestra.

Jessica studied with Margaret Crawford at the University of Melbourne - Faculty of VCA, and then with Pierre-Yves Artaud at the prestigious Paris National Superior Conservatory of Music & Dance (CNSMDP). In 2014, she graduated from the Paris Conservatory with a Masters of Music in Flute Performance, obtaining the highest marks. 

In 2016, Jessica Jiang was an Academy Flutist with the SWR Radio Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart and begun undertaking a Soloist Diploma with Mario Caroli at the Hochschule fur Musik Freiburg in Germany and in June 2017, she won the position of Associate Principal Flutist with the Hessian State Orchestra in Wiesbaden.


  • 13 June 2017: Jessica has won the Associate Principal Flute position with the Hessian State Orchestra in Wiesbaden.

  • 18 May 2016: Jessica has won 1st Prize in the International Music Competition "Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso" in Austria. On 13 July she performed as soloist at the Prize Winner's Concert in the Wiener Saal Mozarteum.
