Welcome to the official website of flutist Jessica Jiang.
Jessica Jiang is a graduate of the Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSMDP), and since 2017 is the Associate Principal Flutist of the Hessisches Staatsorchester Wiesbaden.
From 2014-15 she held the position of Solo Piccolo & Flutist with Orchestre Régional de Cannes, as well as Principal Flute with the Conservatoire Graduates' Orchestra in Paris. She has also played with Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Symphonique et Lyrique de Nancy, and was guest Principal Flutist with the Orchestre Symphonique Région Centre-Tours and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. She has won numerous international awards, including 1st prize at the International Flute Competition "Leonardo de Lorenzo" in 2011 and the Audience Prize at the International Flute Competition of Budapest in 2013.
Jessica Jiang studied with Margaret Crawford at the University of Melbourne - Faculty of VCA, and with Pierre-Yves Artaud at the prestigious Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSMDP). In 2014, she graduated from the Paris Conservatory with a Masters of Music in Flute Performance, obtaining the highest marks.
In 2016, Jessica Jiang was an Academy Flutist with the SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra and also undertook a Soloist Diploma with Mario Caroli at the Hochschule fur Musik Freiburg in Germany. A year later, she won the position of Associate Principal Flutist with the Hessisches Staatsorchester Wiesbaden.
- 18 May 2016: Jessica has won 1st Prize in the International Music Competition "Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso" in Austria. On 13 July she performed as soloist at the Prize Winner's Concert in the Wiener Saal Mozarteum.
